Radio/Personal Appearances:

Essex based Comedian & Radio Presenter Ross McGrane has been performing Stand-up Comedy for over 10 years. As well as playing regularly in some of the UK's most prestigious venues, he's also been the official Tour Support for industry heavyweights such as Russell Kane, Jayde Adams & Geoff Norcott.

He blends his razor sharp Essex Boy wit with relatable observations about growing up on a Council Estate in Southend, starting a family and navigating through life as a peasant in a rich person's world. A very accomplished MC, he seamlessly moves from crowd work to material as if he's talking to you at the bar. With over 20 years experience in almost all aspects of the comedy industry, Ross' experience, passion and knowledge has quickly earned him spots regualrly hosting for some of the biggest bookers and agents in the country including Off The Kerb, Avalon, Covent Garden Comedy Club, House of Stand Up, Outside The Box & Out of Bounds Comedy.

During lockdown, Ross co-produced and hosted weekly online stand up shows with Russell Kane performing to over 100 people a week from his dining room and was eventually asked to perform at the Save Live Comedy fundraiser show at The Clapham Grand alongside some of the biggest names in the industry including: James Acaster, Ed Byrne, Fern Brady and more. He is the Founder and face or Essex based Comedy Event Organisers: Little Smash Comedy which produces some of the biggest and best comedy shows in Essex including the county's first and only weekly comedy club at The Alex, Southend which recently came runner-up in the Chortle Comedy Awards for Best Open Spot Comedy Night in the UK.

Ross is also one half of Radio Essex's Weekend Breakfast duo Ross & John whose show is the most interacted with on the station and reaches over 20,000 listeners per week. Such is their popularity, the boys can be found hosting the arenas for In The Park Concerts, Southend Pride, The Essex Motor Show, Festival of Wheels as well as countless community and charity events across the County. Dubbed Essex' Ant & Dec, they have performed 3 sell-out shows of their self-produced sketch show; Going Out with Ross & John and are planning a tour of the same in 2023.

Ross & John also write and host Web TV show: Not On Your Telly which is a voluntary project that provides a platform for Comedians, Musicians, Technicians and Film & TV students to showcase their skills in a high production multi-camera environment. The show is Produced by Deadline Communications Ltd. and has so far run for 1 season of 8 episodes. In that time it has played host to 15 bands/musicians, 8 comedians and has showcased community projects such as Southend YMCA, the RNLI, The Southend City bid and David Amess Memorial Concert and countless small businesses.
